if you want 230V, buy a petrol gennie

im sure a 12v battery will be cheaper though

Nerrr, i charge at 4A but i usually have other stuff running as well like my smart tray and another charger for my handset, so i reckon 5A total.

In theory it's not a BRCA event, just a large club event. So I think you can use the 3 times insurance thing.

I had a conversation with Northy about this and that's the conclusion we came to.

no it isn't a BRCA event but we should be running to all brca rules [except for lipos]. This shouldn't stop you racing though, because I know someone did the NERCR one without a licence
