Hi there,

I ran my 210 on astro for the first time last week and I used SSchumacher yellow mini-spike on the rear and low profile cut stagger on the front, also in yellow compound. The car was ace.

I would agree with the above recommendation. Schumacher tubby inserts on the rear axle also tends to work well. Depending on what you like and on the track the cut staggers can be very aggressive, next step down would be something like proline scrubs, M3 compound on the front followed by the ribbed tire. Right now we have settled for scrubs as a good intermediate solution, and use worn staggers as the next step if we are hunting for more steering.

As always this is a lot dow to How you want the feel of your car to be.

Ballistic White mini spikes are also a good alternative to Schumacher Yellows. I prefer them for our indoor astro-turf layout - a little less likely to grip roll compared to the Schumachers.

Schumacher yellow mini-spike are working great for me.

Although they are wearing down extremely fast for me, I use AKA red foams in them.

210
Sch Yellow minispikes on rear and front with outer row cut off ! That is if running no weight.
If running weight change to cut staggers on the front.
410 yellow sch minispikes front and rear again with outer row of spikes cut and on the front cut the inner row as well.

Is there any races planned for the track in Ottawa yet? I'll make it if there's a trophy race in the new year.

Chet, The guys layed down the astro this week, once everything is figured out, I'm sure they will find time to plan a big race. Hope to see you around!

I'm running A multis front (2wd front on narrow rim, haven't tried full rim yet) and rear, some run the block pass in the front though on the 210, almost anything goes on the 4wd,but A multi front and rear will probably be very good as well
