Cool..

I had one of these..

Hirobo Zerda..

Went well, the only down side to it was it was completely belt drive! So from the pinion to spur gear it had a belt! So as you can imagine it slipt all the time But still had some good racing with it. I know of at least one person who converted it to gear driven from the motor to spur, much better!

That bumper might have prevented all your wishbone breaking too Nick!!

Mine was Tandy Porsche 935 (pre lipo) circa 1983, did about 1mph!

Then got Tamiya pajero and my mate snapped the chassis on the first day! My old fella bodged it with some aluminium and was sorted, had loads of fun with that car.

Default 1965 Schuco-Hegi Porsche 904 GTS Metz RC Car

Hi, I have been searching the net for information about this car your forum is the only place I found any history
So I have logged on in the hope I might find out a bit more. Basically I have one of these + the full matching Metz Mecatron RC set. The car itself comes with stepper motors and even a proper clear sided lead acid battery pack. Its all boxed and 100% complete but it would be a shame to build it really.
I picked up two of these many years ago in an old toy store in Africa that was closing down as they looked cool. I came across a Schuco collector more than 10 years ago and he persuaded me to part with one set for what seemed a small fortune back then.

Anyway I would be grateful for any other infomation or literature that might be out there.

Once i figure out how to do pictures I will post some

Thanks

Wasp

Default Vintage RC

Hi all,

Has anybody got an idea of the value of this bundle of vintage joy?

I have another project that is burning a hole in my pocket and I am considering putting it up for sale

Thanks

very hard to say, I'm selling a few vintage team associated and kyosho dash 1 parts and the interest is limited. To the right seller they are worth more but I guess because of their age not to many people owned them, and due to that interest is low. I have a mint Dash 3 body and radio cover, that is supossed to be super rare, but people don't want to pay for it. One person offered me 50 US for them shipped another 150 euro plus shipping.
