Default rpc racing

I am looking to buy some screws from rpc racing but they do not respond on private messaging on here or email.

Have they closed down now?

Seen some bad reviews about them so wanted to check before buying.

I bought the CRC screw set at the same time as some other items.
Everything turned up quick enough but when I went to use one of the CRC sets screws I found they were all metric.

Tried contacting through the site but never got a response.

I should have probably chased them some more but just gave up and ordered some from another site.

I got my screw set in the end but it took ages, messaged a couple of times with no reply and eventually raised a paypal dispute which seemed to prompt despatch of the item. Probably about a month or so for a 12 quid screw set. I'd not go back to them but maybe just a bad experience for me...?

I emailed twice regarding a screw set I was wanting to order. I didn't get a reply to either so there's no chance I'll risk placing one.

looks like RPC has disappeared again

i made an order 2 weeks ago, but it's not arrived, tired emailing them a couple of times but no response from RPC, even tried messaging them on facebook but no response there either, they've also not been online here since this thread was answered 4 weeks ago

looks like i'll have to claim the money back with Paypal

I brought my screws from a model shop in the end. What screws you after? I might be able to help now after finding a manufacturer of the screws.

Anyone tried www.modelfings.co.uk? They don't sell screw kits specified for a particular car or model, but they do have a huge range of fixings and their Cap Screw Box kits look very tempting.

http://www.modelfixings.co.uk/cap_screw_boxed_kits.htm

Plus Modelfixings do all the odd sizes such as M2.5's. I've used RPC in the past and frustratingly they only sell M3/'standard' screws, so if your car has other diameter screws you will not get all the screws you need.

right an update where i am with RPC Racing

i opened a paypal dispute with RPC ... then to my supprise, later that day i received a dispatch note from them ... hmmmm
no email with an explination or even a simple sorry for the delay, still nothing
anyway the bearings i ordered turned up the day after, well sort of... trouble is, they have sent me the wrong sizes in the bearing kit for my car... (Team Magic E4 RS) about 50% are the wrong size
so i emailed them straight away explaining to them they had sent the wrong sizes and what sizes they should have sent, and guess what.... a week has now gone by and i've had no response from RPC Racing

so back to paypal i guess, and start a new claim, as they replied to paypal with a tracking number for the original didn't arrive claim

i just don't understand why they will reply to paypal and a select few above but not me and others
seriously how can you run a business like this??? it goes without saying i won't order direct with RPCRacing again

and so it drags on

Andrew
