Good day

We actually got finished in time and had the full 4 rounds good stuff, even after a bit of a slow start, we got there in the end.

Track i thought was really good, due to the smallish space it wasnt very wide and a bit awkward to overtake on at times but felt great on a clean lap, really consistant and fun to drive.

How annoying is it that you can't trust your own mates for picking up all the last items left... Don't think i'll be able to pick it up before next year or maybe next round if we make it.

I thought the rostrum was fantastic, its the best one i have ever seen at a regional by far, it had plenty of girth and just enough length

Congrats to two Jarrow regulars, all that practice on Peter's massive jumps must be paying off

Any pics anyone?

Well done to TRCC, track was consistent, and different to our usual regional tracks, actually made a nice change. Thanks to those on race control, and P.Ellis for fixing the problems.

Great 4WD final, very fast final, I couldnt get near those times all day, well done to James for winning the race.

Hats off to Greg aswell, didnt see the times but Im sure you were the only car to lap me in the final, and I was 6th, so that was a great effort.

As for my C final 4wd, must apologise to Peter. Just going oer the jump my car cut out when I was leading, Peter Ellis in 2nd hit the back of my car, which kick started it again, allowed me to win the race, but Peter ended up 10th from that collision.

Good effort by all! Many thanks.

Don't take this the wrong way but I think it would be unfair to give him that penalty, as I saw plenty of bad marshalling (sp) and driving, cutting corners etc.
But seen as there was no referee nothing was done.

And cheers chris but there's no need to apologise as I've said before that's racing and it's supposed to be fun. I quite enjoyed getting from 10th back to 4th then just missing 3rd by 10 yards.

Peter

It was noticed and something was done. Plain and simple you race you marshal, bad marshaling is different to not turning up as you are working on your cars. The fact that race control sought not to act was disappointing. He (James) got away lightly with it and TBH I thought his attitude sucked to the people who brought it to his attention.

Properly went down in my estimations, he wasn't big enough to take the punishment.

Jame's won the A Final fair & square unlike some of the other A finalists who cut corners in their attempt to catch him . You know who you are

His marshall point was covered for the full 5 minutes as a TRCC member stood in for him.

I wonder who asked him to stand in after his name had been called on the tannoy.

Check your facts mate, you'll get easily embarassed.

It was me who got Glenn to stand in for him.

If your snipe is aimed at me, I got biffed off the track and even rejoined 1 place back.

And who at south shields was argueing and shouting across the track to race control about not being able to get into the rerun of a heat when they weren't running when it was stopped.

As it says in the brca book the race directors decision is final.

and on a final note as everyone who was there saw he won anyway, is there any point in winning by default.
