How can an option part be a fail?
Nobody complained that much about the multi angle wheel extension unit, though not everyone is using it.
There was no innovation since the first wheel radio and there will be people who like it who are not already using wheel or stick radios for years.

@Ry: when you are looking for a controler feel this should come closest to it. The center position would be too bad in the controler, so you have to change quite a few parts and you will still have the problems with braking and accelerating at once. I guess you would end up with something comparable with this ko one or with a stick radio

Arrow transformers....KO in disguise??! ;)

Ok, so let's get this straight, the option to 'autobot' from wheel to stick!? I'm not sure that will even work in the hands of drivers who favour sticks, I pressume the throttle will still be a trigger in stick format? 'Holy confusion to the hand-eye relationship Batman'

Looks a bit crazy and tbh.....KO would be better releasing both a new stick transmitter AND a new wheel IMHO..we will have to see what racers think when this multi-option beast becomes available? I think looks are def secondary to performance but we would all be telling fibs if we drew comparisons between this handset and the finely tuned lines of Jessica Alba

Let's see if Futaba or Sanwa reply with a fresh release?

I guess flattery might help you get one for review...

Bad points to me are I'm a helip spectrum user with 8 rx, no to replace those witness new is not even a starter, how do you buy it? All as one package or pick your add ons, which means a ahop ideally would need to stock them all. As a steer wheel user I would not consider the stick, and I'm sure stick users don't want to relearn there throttle control. Sticks is now a minority,

My other vote would be stick with my existing ko or a new erus

I agree with what Mark said above about how do you buy it because if it's like an SLR camera and you have to get all the pieces separately it's going to be a massive investment, unless they sell it in different configurations so it's all there but they've only had to make one mould for the main body ???

I also agree with a previous poster who essentially said it's going to be in the back of the wardrobe in a year and people are only going to say they like it to justify the expense to themselves. It just seems another gimmick that looks quite cool but in practice is a bit odd.

Something I don't think I've spotted anyone saying yet is HOW it's going to work with your brain. When I started many years ago only stick sets were available. So you had a stick for go / stop and a stick for left / right. Then the wheels came out, trigger and steering wheel, fiar enough, steering wheel albeit smaller is a natural thing, after all ride on toys from the age of 1 have steering wheels so we're all used to them

The sudden combination of trigger and stick is an odd one, and one I think that will play havoc with our brains. It's great that KO have been so innovative and I hope that I'm complete wrong and they do really well but I just think they're going to take too much getting used to and people will loose interest with them. We can't even get people to change to the wheel radio's completely yet, so many still use sticks so I don't know what chance this is going to have ???

Masami said price should be about 570€ (480 GBP) .... that a bit much for a transmitter that has basically the features (display and functions) the JR R-1 already had.
