Cat EC shock position
Why has this shock setup never been used again? The Cat EC was a great car and won loads of titles. |

From what I remember the Cat EC and the Losi XX4 were very well matched back in the day. People still run the XX4, myself included, so it is a shame I haven't seen a Cat running in years. They were awsome, especially indoors.
There were rumours a few years ago about Schumacher re-releasing the Cat EC as a low cost buggy. I'm sure with brushless and LiPo it would be better than ever! |

Cat EC
Partly because of how well they handelled and partly because it was one of the first buggies I raced (not just wizard around the garden), I am going to restore and modernise my EC to use again.
Will post pics in vintage section soon. Busy collecting parts for now. |

Was there a Fireblade which used a similar shock position setup?

Yes. But the rear shocks weren't as laid down as the EC
