Default Erratic Servo Behaviour in Brand New HPI Trophy 3.5v2

So I ordered this HPI Trophy 3.5v2 last week, I am admittedly very new to the Nitro world, so at the moment I am just on this massive learning curve.

Anyway, I took the car onto the track at the weekend to do some really slow laps to break it in, and after a while it just started to do random things. It didn't run off as such, but more just "freaked out". It would start and stop, wouldn't turn, then it would etc.

Since I had no faith in the control of the car, I took it off the track and did some investigation. Basically, my servos are twitching and being unresponsive all over the place, so I decided to try and remedy this by replacing the receiver battery pack with a hump pack, checked all the voltages on my batteries, everything in that department is fine, any ideas what could be going on here? like I say, it's had about two laps of the NDOR track and idles around 4 tanks of fuel.

I have uploaded some videos of this weirdness

Thanks,
