Couple for Geoffroy from Belgium.
All cut using liquid mask. Spraying the liquid mask makes it MUCH easier to see what you are doing

A Proline B44 for Avo - in the style of the 2wd Yokomo I did previously.

Cheers Andy

Spray gun is just from ebay - lots of sellers selling the same thing, was around £12, just search for a car spray gun - works a treat. Did you get a Bambi in the end - as you need to up the pressure a bit and thin it down a touch to get the best results - but it's worth it, goes on almost flat - so much easier to work with !!!!

Also - I needed an adapter as the fitting is different.

B44 for Adam Charlesworth - I didn't paint the 2WD, Adam wanted me to do something similar on his B44. Pretty chuffed the colours matched as I had no idea what was used on the 2wd body !

Next up, a Pair for Matrin 'Numpty' Pearson. Based on the design I did for his B44. This is an Xray shell and a C4.1 shell.

Hi Buddy - kyosho's look great - I really like shells with less colours, or different tones of a colour. They look really 'sharp' on the cars, cheers for the pictures

Default Workflow

Excellent work andys, love the shells.
You mentioned your workflow includes a Mac... how does that work? Any special software? Are you working 3D, or is it several 2D views and a "regular" photoshop kind of thing?

Cheers
Chris

Chris - just plain old flat artwork drawn in illustrator

Finally finished this huge beast - Durango short course shell for Ben Kaberry, based on the B44 shell I painted recently. Took ages to mask / cut paint - these things are BIG !

Following on from the Truck for Ben Kaberry - I had a few other shells to paint up in the same style.

Took me ages as most of the design is hand cut liquid mask. Very pleased with the result, and thanks to Ben for trusting me with so many shells
