Hi,

i made my undertray for my BJ4 from a clear .4mm plastic sheet
from a hobby Shop. Just lay the chassis on it, mark the edges and cut with a plus around
and bend on the chassis edges.

Works fine and costs a bargain....

I bought the Proline Vortex B44 kit for mine - for £15 you get a shell, wing and undertray. Haven't actually fitted the undertray yet, so don't know if it'll need modding.

Have got NEW, unsprayed (still with protective film on), genuine, JConcepts BJ4 WE Bodyshell, Wing and Undertray available FOR SALE. Can supply with either standard 6" wing and/or High Downforce 6.5" wing/s.

Sorry, will NOT break, will ONLY sell as complete set.

Thumbs up

Installed a B44 tray on my BJ4WE before I sold it and can say that it's almost an exact fit. While the rear of the tray won't sit completely flush with the rearmost part of the chassis, it still offers great protection. Note that the tray JConcepts sells is for the original BJ4 and would need far more hacking to get it to fit the rear of the saddlepack chassis, and because of that it won't cover nearly as much of the chassis as the B44 tray does.

I use the Proline Vortex shell/undertray on my BJ4 too. As said above, the undertray don't fit perfect in the back, it won't cover all CF, but i use some strong tape to cover the rear plate, it works fine.

Agreed. Make one from flat sheet Lexan. .030" sheet traced out from a blank chassis, added .5" to the sides and folded up using an old wood clamp. Works perfect and costs almost nothing if you have the Lexan around.

The next one I make will bend up under the front bumper...

The B44 works fine just make sure you screw it down in the back with the 2 screws in the centre rear.
