B4 Gearbox On A Sc10
Has anyone tried this? Because I have had my ball diff on order for over 2 months now, and they arn't even in the country!!!
Spoke to my local model shop and he said that should work? But as it is bigger would the gear box hold up? Thinking about ordering it in from the Losi parts house because they are showing that they have them in stock. |

Yep it works but you'll need the B4 T-plate too.

I'm using a gearbox out of a T4 in my SC10, I believe this is the same as a B4 box. I didn't bother changing the T plate, the gearbox fitted without problems

Correct, the SC lower plate fits both gearboxes, but the B4 plate will not work on the SC gearbox.

I swapped my B4 and sc10 gearboxes round a while ago and altho I found the B4 ok with the geared diff the SC10 came off worse. The problem I had was that to get the ball diff loose like the gear diff it slipped like crazy but when I tightened it so it didn't slip the back end became snappy and unpredictable. I was running on a grass track so it may work better on a different surface but I prefered the gear diff generally. Horses for courses I suppose .
