So its public bickering "mine is better than yours"? Theres no need for that, the Vega is another great car im sure you can defend without slagging other cars off Scott? The Vega isn't new anymore and opinions are formed and its good. The C4.1 is in its infantry and so opinions are far more important to its sales success, its an awesome car.

Every car has fault, and we can all comment its an open forum (who gave the monkeys the keys! lol). Its just getting taken out of context on here and it doesn't need to as its an awesome car.

To be honest I wasn't slagging the car off. I was merely stating fact. The vega's have been known to bend as well. To be fair a very small amount, however the have bent. The difference with the vega is it's designed for strength using side pods.

OK, so you're saying you don't have the talent to drive one to it's capacity - got it.

Cheers for that explanation mattybucks! All is forgiven lol

Cheers Chris but can you show me any of my posts on here that are slagging cause I can't see any just constructive critism and yes your right the vega is the best car lol joke! And does not need defending as has a rocking following!

And yes the first impressions do last and have massive impacts on sales like when vega gate ( shell BS ) started. God knows what that cost !vega cause you can't measure the damage!

If you genuinely have no problem then good
But if you do and you don't acknowledge it then thats bad for sales etc but you know all this
Now then Chris old friend how's about answering my constructive suggestions
Cheers

Made this today, would this be any good? don't mind being told it's a pile of crap, but could you shed some light as to why you think that way.

Looks good, as it mounts to the existing posts through the brace which are braced to the rear, whole chassis is braced front to rear..... rather than adding posts, drilling chassis (weakening) and additional posts won't be braced, the right angle is a weak point.... as per the other guy who's made a brace on this thread...

I also love how you've dremelled the material to shape in position, leaving soooo much dust on your C4.1! Very stylish

Yup, it seems like it's the lack of talent/crashing hacks that find fault in every car, and the limp-d!cked weenies that want to turn everything into a d!ck-measuring contest. Buy something, learn to set it up, learn to drive, and literally any brand can be made into a competitive rig. But, being as this is a C4.1 thread, and trashers here slagging off on the car (or brand-whoring other makes) are just tending to ruin everything.

Hey Dean,
Even dustier on 2nd attempt

I think the 1st attempt is best, 2nd version looks too stiff as each side isn't independent with your brace.

However, my attempt will look something like the 2nd attempt except nothing linking between the two sides so they are independent, just 1/2inch wide straight strip of 4mm thick aluminium per side. The front over the brace will be countersunk so no clearance issues for the shell.... im just waiting for the material and motivation to arrive, hopefully they'll come together

Oh but I have an idea for you, if attempt #2 is stuck with. Make the hole fan sized/shaped and use it to mount a descent 6v fan of whatever size over the ESC.

Nice work - I just think they're too thick in the amount of support they provide, being as I'd guess you could get by with beams about 1/2 as wide. IMHO

Not really, you're using fairly thick material so narrowing it a little shouldn't really hurt it's structural integrity.
