Shaft driven 4wd Schumacher buggy
I can't remember Schumacher selling a shaft driven 4wd buggy🤔🤔.
So, with the new tekno 4wd shaft driven buggy eb410 and the updated yokomo yz4s reverting back to shaft drive, do you reckon schumacher has anything in the pipeline and move away from belt drive? Why is shaft drive an update? The Tek(hell)no is as fugly as the day is long!

Schumacher used to sell a shaft drive rally x car and they do a micro car?
if you mean produce one, why shaft? the "others have shaft driven 2wd in some cases, to me Schumacher pride them selves in being different and not following the crowd!

They can still do shaft drive and be different! I’m surprised no one has done a shaft drive version with the gearboxes like the YZ4, with the bevel drive separated from the diff. Would be one extra gear in both front and rear gearboxes but there are no issues for power or run time with modern electrics.

We had all the Tamiyas with overcomplicated shaft drive and eventually got efficient with 2 diffs and a shaft mounted spur (Predator from TTech and the TC3 Associated). If everyone follows the herd, we'll end up similar to 1/8th scale with clones similar to all the ebuggy and 1/8th scale cars and nothing really outstanding. If we all use the same CAD/CAM on the same problems we end up with the same answer, that's just engineering evolution. Sadly, you can't tell one 1/8th car from another, they all look generic. A vertically mounted servo and narrow shaft alignment are not sufficient to be 'different' IMO. Schumacher have always run belts in 2wd and 4wd, it's their 'thing' and they've never been know for following the crowd - shaft driven or not. So no, I don't think they'll change to shaft. (that being said, one guy has been told that alloy front upper housings are 'discontinued'...)
