Yannick won with it so must be a good car!!! Looked a great weekend mate!

Well what a weekend @ Neo, big thanks to Cooky & Ry for all the help in the pit's.

I had a good weekend with not one problem all through practice or qualifying, until the finals when it looks like a stone went and mashed the clutch bell up.

Like Ry says the Losi EU will be as good as any other Losi out there, I just didn't give the car time and some of the Losi team drivers advised me to use my old Losi 2 as it will be more free to drive than a brand new Losi.

I think I marshalled yours in the final - was it just going in to the touring car section when you pulled up? If so, there were sparks flying out the underside and a distinct lack of drive when it pulled up

it was an immsense weekend! best Neo track so far I think.

I could have done with a little bit more luck, but at least my pace was better than it has ever been.

I only finished 3 quallys (4 to count) and spent 2 minutes off the track in the final with issues and still finished 80 somethingth

Yep that was my Losi going in to the touring car section with sparks flying off, was in a bump up spot as well.

But still what a weekend, need more dry dirt racing this summer.

Finished 90 something think. Naff final lol. Managed to make the 1/16th which ain't a bad effort . Second time at Neo and it was a great track. Lots of people breaking servos though...... . Must have been the hard landings. Either way it was a great meeting. Would have liked to have run Recoils to give a go but stuck to the Holeshots. Roll on Neo 2011

Top weekend, really enjoyed it even though everything went wrong, can't wait for next time now. I was a bit gutted with how my final went, looking at the times if I hadn't had the engine cut my time would have bumped me up into the 1/4's

The motor in my steering servo siezed in P2, then the throttle servo failed on me in P3

Ha ha ha you bogger

I clocked you with your picture box Mate

Pitty we could have gone further as he was just getting used to the track when I saw a spark from the spur gear and then a metallic sound when he came past me. Then the next time he went over the quad a lump of glowing metal flew out of it and thats when me heart dropped and I thought 'bloody hell we're only a few minutes in, we'll never make it to the end. then I heard the dreaded TIM..TIM.. Ran as fast as me 3 leg would carry me to bring it back, running through the pits shouting mooooove I knocked a jolly foreigner over and tried to get it started to hear a bad grinding noise and then I knew it was race over, but finishing 115th is brill for a first time nitro race

115. (147+32) David Gibson UK Tamiya O.S. A. 1/32 - 4/ 3m 9.93 47.48 41.83 (3)

Well done Dave

Had a great time, though I definitely regret making my first time with the car, or in fact any nitro/clutch/mechanical brake car etc Friday practice!!

Cheers for all the help Tim, no way I'd have even got through Friday without it, had a great weekend! God knows what I'll do next race with it!

Well impressed with the car too, from Brand new to have so few problems on a track like that was ace. Looking forward to getting it onto some normal UK tracks now!! Great speed and 13 mins from a tank as well, so the engines good too!!

Hey Griff, I meant Mallets pit bench rather than Fat Jesus... (Dave please say if you find that name offensive, I find it funny, but I'll stop if you no likey).

Yeh and you need to get to some Nitro racing, its a great crack. There is the NRS series, then each of the clubs have a great series up here - a bit far for you perhaps....

"Not you Fat Jesus" was already my nickname at work, so all good here too.

Plus, lets be honest here, I don't get a choice, showtime will see to that!!!

Always seems to be a religous reference in my nicknames for some reason....

Mallet was my pitman this weekend Chris, so it was my car on his bench!

Griff, deffo need to sort some 8th racing, I'm in 2 minds at the moment, entered into NRS but tempted by 8/10 instead as it has an electric class too!? What do you reckon mate? Reckon we can downramp tempted by the air available?
