Must of been a massive amount of work to shift that much water. First visit to Stotfold and really looking forwards to it, thanks for going to so much effort to keep the meeting on. Might even treat myself to some new BB greens

It wasn't so much the water on the track it was everytime we tried to clear it it just filled up again. Basically the fields over the road are on a much higher plain and our field and the farmers garden got the worst of it. Also when we looked we noticed the stream that runs adjacent to the track, had stopped flowing causeng the stream down the left hand side of the track. We have a very similiar thing happen about 10yrs ago, the consequences of that was we had to shut the club for 3mths whilst the track dried and the water level dropped. Much to the hard work of our members we built soak aways and drainage that can deal with it, but unfortunately the recent drought, (:-)) we have been having, was a bridge too far.

Well done to those guys that turned up at the track today, I am very sorry I could not make it, as we had already made other plans before i read that this was happening.

Will see you all tomorrow, and keeping fingers crossed that there is no more rain overnight.

Top days racing, well worth the 120 miles each way (and 5am start!). You guys did a great job despite the weather induced trials!

Loving the E final vid as well... never seen myself on film before. Learned two things, need to work on my rear damping (too stiff) and need to crash less
