Beginners Car
Hi Guys
I’m considering starting racing again after a 11 year lay off, and it’s all changed so much. What’s good TV chassis to have now? I quite like the look of the Schumacher Mi6Evo but may be stuck to getting SH to start with. Going off used prices what sort of thing should I be looking. For? Thanks in anticipation for reading such a vague question |

Go with something popular that you can get spares and help for.
Used Xrays (T4'14 or later) are always a good shout; the setup and spares are pretty much identical to the latest cars. You'll usually pay more than other brands initially, but spend less in the long run as the quality is excellent. Mi6 is also popular, so you shouldn't have an issue getting parts and setup. The build quality (fit and finish) isn't on a par with Xray, but it is strong. Get a car with a carbon chassis, as that's the only option for outdoors, and best option indoors with club-level grip. |
