Default rear camber link mod

hi, andy griff has shown me a mod for the rear camber linkages twice now, but i keep forgetting what to do..

something to do with using the front link plate things on the rear with a bit of sanding to make a shorter link?

any advice would be good

you can just fit the front plates onto the rear, this wil lgive you a shorter link option. You can also sand down the little posts where the screws go to drop it down an extra millimetre too.

ok cheers,

so i assume where it says -1mm on setupsheets for that link, its refering to the lugs being shaved off

also why is there no marking on the setup sheets for inner/outer hole on the rear hub carrier, is it to be assumed that the inner hole is mostly used?

the 1mm could be a washer, best to check with person who it belongs to.

there is nothing on the set up sheet for it as the kit standard set up only has one hole.

many of the setup sheets ive seen use a minus sign for the amount of washers, so im guessing this is to do with the lowering of the link past stock setup,

although the rear link plates only have one hole from stock, the hubs on the wheel end have two holes, but it doesnt seem to accomodate this on the setup sheet

cheers

it it's -1 then yes, i would assume it means the lowered plates.

sorry, mis-read the comment about the outer hub. could just be a misprint on the original set up sheet. there is a box for additional notes so you could use this to clarify on your own set ups. If it is set ups from someone else then drop them a line and ask them to be sure, most of the team drivers are pretty friendly!
