Default New Schuey SCT Tyres:

The choice for 2WD front tyres just got harder:

New staggered ribs for SCT's in Yellow, Blue and Silver compounds

Exactly - stagger ribs have proven to be the tire of choice on Buggies and ST's, so it's about time they made them up for SCT's.

Anything we "made do with" seemed to be barely good enough, whereas proper stagger ribs will keep me from cutting most of the nibs off a set of minipins (all but ruining them, and shortening their life).

It's a good thing having the option... they'll find their place depending how we get on with them.

first impressions are they look quite aggressive with the sidewall lugs, but can't be any more aggressive on 2WD than using spiked tyres all round.

reckon they'll be good on grass tracks and should wear well in yellow compound going on their ST versions.

The good thing is that Schumacher listen to their customers/market and consider their requests... this idea and the Silver Minispike request was listened too and acted on, Silver Minispikes were within a couple of weeks after asking with the extreme wetness at SCT National 2012 rd1 too, so top work Schuey!

What we need now is Silver compound 'Spirals' for SCT rims... would be the ultimate wet tyre of choice on astro and grass!
