Default Diff ?

Just bought a used roller and wanted to change the seals on the diffs but could not get the gear out of the plastic case side of the diff...any tips on getting it that out?

i think the way most do it is to order a new e clip and just whack the center of the diff output from inside the plastic diff case

When you will rebuilt it, dremel the gear diff outdrive so it can
came out easyly next time.

Thats the only way that makes sense to me. Tried smacking it on the table (not too hard ) and it didn't move. The metal gear side I had to slowing work my way around it with a flathead to get it off.

He is say that once you get the gear of, dremel the hex down just a bit on that side so that it doesn't fit so tight and will come off by tapping it on the back for next time.
