Default Removing blue anodising

I'm going to give my X6 Sq a 60 minute makeover. What's the best way to remove blue anodising? I was thinking 1500 grade wet n dry?

Get some caustic soda, mix it with water, put the parts in that, bingo. Google it for more info.
