Default Best Q-Cars

Q-cars, AKA "Sleeper Cars", AKA "Wolves in Sheeps clothing". Production cars that look fairly ordinary, but when pushed go like s**t off a shovel!. Massive fan of them and here is one of my personal favourites, but what are yours?

Lancia Thema 8-32, looks boring but has this under the bonnet

I would have to agree with all 3 posts above, though good ones are becoming as rare as hens teeth now.

To be the ultimate sleeper (q car ) it has to be utterly normal from the outside.

The q car came from the term q boat in the second world war , they used to disguise warships as normal boats to fool the enemy.

Here endeth the lesson.

One car i admire is the Mazda 6 MPS , 240/260 bhp , 4wheel drive and dull as ditchwater to look at.

A friend of mine built a 1,2 Vauxhall Nova spin , fitted it with a 2.0 litre redtop , upped the brakes but kept the wheels standard.
