Default Vintage Pred drivers/paint schemes??

Hi Guys, Just had a thought about who used to race the Pred back in the day??

I seem to remember Kinwald, Richmond Rogers, Kevin Moore (cool triangle paint scheme) + many more...............

Also any pics of the old Pred race cars/paint schemes or Mag scans??

Had a look on the-pred.co.uk but not much there.....

Please feel free to add what you want about the Pred (apart from moaning about the old noisy gearbox's lol! )

Cheers Tony for posting up the pics!

William Mitcham drove for TTech too, yes Cragg too.

Any other drivers??

Was Kev Moore the most succesful Pred driver of that era??

Why did it win so much?? Was it due to the amount of high grip grass tracks in the 90's?

Peter Ellis was/is putting a large resource of Tenth Technology info together -

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthre...light=predator

I'm sure he would have a good idea of top drivers who used to drive the older models. Ive got lots of info on them but Peters probably got all that and a lot more. Im sure if you PM'd him he would be able to help you out ?

Also, half the 'more experienced' racers on o0ple probable drove a 'Legacy' Predator at some time in their career Just in my region Dave Belsten, Chris Mills, Russel Williams and Craig Harris used to run XK98's/ETQ's/P8's at some point, and they are all current or ex F1's & 2's so pretty good drivers themselves....

Derek an american drove the famous stealth RC10 in 91 wc

A-finalist in England Basildon 93 with an yokomo WCS
A-finalist in Yataba Arena in 95 driving Kyosho Lazer ZXS

After that he drove the pred in nats or something like that

Dont remeber more but i have the magazin at my parents house shall dig it and take an scan when i go there.

mvh Isobarik

I looked at the mag it was in the same race/ issue as kinwald won the nats with the XX4 in its first outing.

Derek qualified 5 finnished 8 running maxtec batts/motors and losi tires.

Cheers for the info Dyna/isobarik.

Shame all the old info from the-pred.co.uk is not available, lets hope chris burgess can get all the info back up line at some point.

ha ha I sold it a long time ago, I got fed up of the woeful support from xtreme. Fantastic car but it took a lot of maintenance and waiting weeks on end for xtreme to post things out took the piss.

That's one uber cool Pred! Loving the paint job!

I'm thinking of a vintage scheme on my X11, the shells sat here ready to go to Blitz, just need to decide what to go for....
