The problem is you cant remove it as if you try and cut a slot into it it will cut the motor as the screw doesnt sit flush it is about half a mm deaper so cutting a deep enough slot if going to be very very difficult without damaging the motor.

Also i spend 75 quid on a motor you exspect it to have no problems and quality control should have picked it up.

I think im going to ring microtech and ask to speak to the manager

Ash, if Mirage will not replace it, the manager will likely tell you the same, if the wheel is small enough you could probably cut a slot in it. Otherwise, Ive had a lad at my club, screw a tappin screw into a Ti screw that was stuck in an aluminum bulkhead and get it out within seconds.

Yes but theyre implying youve damaged the screw and it wasnt there fault so it doesnt matter.

I got my motor back today they said on the invoice they had included a spare screw. That wasnt actually in the package. Then on close inspection they had damaged my sensor plug. When i sent it there was a small chip out of the edge of the plug but not a huge chunk and 2 outof the 6 wire bent. Pic below.

The 28 days return policy is only valid with distance selling, and therefore only a protection for anyone ordering over the phone, internet etc.. Its a law, one which can be used regardless of the terms of the company involved.

BUT, with a company like Mirage, you should be able to speak to them and get a level of customer service which doesn't mean the 28 days return policy isn't required.

Its more for when you are small fry ordering from a big company and the care is minimal cos they have so many customers that as an individual you don't matter.... with Mirage you do matter as the modelling market is Niche.
