Dex 210 servo help wanted !!

I just got durango 210 and brought savox servo 1251 digit coreless sevo what the best servo horn to use with it as I'm new to this I'm not sure what to buy so would like some advice thanks

Their is a 25T servo horn in the box. I have tried other horns and they seem too long.

Actually the tlr22 alu servo horn is a really good fit, only need to epand the hole for the bolt holding the ball slightly.

I would not reccomend using the 1251 without a servo saver in the 210 though, manged to mess up two in ours within four packs of running without major shunts.

Have you bought a kit or an RTR. if its a kit you will have a 25T horn with it. If you give me a shout and I will post you a plastic one I have a few lol

Hi you will find in the Team Durango 210 Kit that it is supplied with servo horns ranging from 23-25T with Savox being 25T

I have been running a Savox 1258 which is not a low profile servo but have only damaged one servo horn in 2 years of running my 210 car.

I would presume it depends how hard you hit things tho..

The new RTR kit comes with a servo saver so it might be worth ordering one of those if you feel the need.

and costs around £6.49

I run a standard servo horn with no servo saver with a savox 1251
And the speedo is a tekin rs pro and its worked like that for a year before that it was the same combination in a tc02c

I've been running Savox 1258's with Tekin RS Pro's in both 2WD and 4WD for almost four years now without a single problem. This is the first I've heard of anyone saying there is a problem with high current draw.

Here in Germany a lot of people have this problem, i don't know why, but something in the construction from Savox must be very cheap
But everyone makes his own experience.....
For me Savox is dead - as always in life: If you buy cheap, you buy twice......

Sorry, but every Servo (TT, ProTek, Team Orion, etc.) is working without any problem, so for me Savox is the problem; They are cheap, but they didn't work without additional parts, so it is just a faulty design;

Hi I just used savox servo 1251 in my durango 210 with a 25t horn and had no problem at all in the 'b' final fist time ever plus wining 2 races and 2 second places so happy days!!!

The Savox motors draws alot of amps. So to use them you need to use receivers and esc`s that can supply them with the current they need.
Same goes for brushless motors also. You can`t feed a 5.5t motor with a 35amp esc in a buggy.
I use Savox servos in four buggys now with Futaba receivers and Hobbywing esc`s. Never had a single problem.
If you have to buy £80 servo`s because your receivers and esc`s can`t deliver enough amps its not the servo that is the problem.

I think different, one component has a problem, no other component has this problem, so i think construction from savox is more or less bull-shit
