Default Novak 13.5 brushless motor and a LRP Sphere ESC

Just been talking to a couple of guys and it was mentioned that the Novak 13.5R brushless motor would fit the LRP Sphere esc's. We looked at the harness plug and it does indeed look very similar to the LRP harness plug. Does anyone know if the Novak motor would work?????

I've heard both of people using LRP(or Reedy) brushless motors with Novak GTB speedos and LRP/Nosram Sphere speedos with Novak brushless motors when they first came out. The 13.5 turn motor should work just as well, I think.
