Ready to quite before I've started
I bought a sx3 in January n while putting my electrics in burn some wires so sent it way to be fixed . When got it back a very good friend of mine sorted it out n got it running , so very excited me went to my model club to my first race in 25 years only to be put off coz the car kept cutting out after bout 2/3 mins so my mate spent his race nite swapping bits around to fix it which didn't work
 so I stripped it all out to start again .but I am to proud to as for help as my mates son is a team driver and is busy so do I quite or keep trying ? I'm running a sp gt pro esc n a sp 6.5 motor if it help .

My guess would be a heat issue. A couple of things to look at, what's size pinion and spur you using? It could be overheating due to being over geared, a smaller pinion would help. Try turning any boost and timing down too. Make sure the sp connectors are soldered good as well
