Default Cougar Sv in Saddle formation

Anyone tried the car using saddle formation?

How did it compare?

Thanks for link, missed it. However no responses as to whether anyone has tried in saddle formation.

How is the handling effected?

Steve, Andy was running saddles in his the other day, but still in stick format, so you should be able to use your cells without buying any other bits.

Hx,
run mine on saddle last meeting and the car works a lot better than stick on loose, slippery dirt. On high grip tracks I think the stick conversion is the way to go

I was thinking this might be the case, we don't do much slippery dirt in the UK, so we've all mainly been running them stick format.

Default Saddle Lipos Is Stick Pack Formation

Evening people,

When you are running saddle pack lipo are you removing material from the plastic "hinge" on the top deck/battery strap or is there another method? This maybe a silly question but I just don't want to start filing for no point and sod things up with my new kit.

Cheers.

Yeah i removed some materal from the plastic "hinge" . But i must admit i dont use the schumacher saddle pack brace. I made my own.

Must say the car is way more stabile in saddle pack configuration that with a stick pack. This was driving on a very slippery dirt track.i havent driven the car on astro.

regards, wouter

I don't have this conversion but want to try it for a test to see if it correct a tunning issue I have. I'm running on a medium to loose track and can't keep the rear end from swinging out on me. I checked the diff and drivetrain for any binding and found no problems. Instead of adding wieghts in the back I thought this might do the trick. Has anyone had the same problem?
