Nice, I see the Evo proto doesnt have the white diffs, but does it have the Atlas outdrives which in my opinion are the best designed outdrives I have ever used.

What the ZX-S? If so I did do a couple of videos of my proto running at a small carpet club and on one of them you will see me bounce off the chairs leg at speed (unsure how fast but over 20mph) and no breakage.

Look at the below links, and apologies for the bad set up

Well I am almost sorted on my version of the rear gearbox in CF but the problem is getting hold of the La112 poles. I have not had a chance to test the front gearbox yet but should hit the club next Friday as the extra bits I require to be made will have been delivered to me on Saturday this week.

I will update on my findings.

Funny though no one did, there was a wobble but shows how tough these cars are.

I know its on here somewhere but can I find it - No!!!

Just out of curiosity and my mind wandering onto another little venture design anyone know what the difference is between the belts LA114 and LA115 (ZXS Belts) compared to the ZXR belts. How many lugs difference between them both?

Oosh

Who did you use to get your blue drive belts made, I really want to try and get a blue belt made for a LWB Optima Mid as the finishing touch for one of my projects

I'd also be keen to buy a pair of the blue Lazer ZX-R belts for you to put aside for a future project if you have any left

Ok guys, I had a brainwave (not very often from me) and as myself and Oosh123 have redeveloped the ZXR gearboxes then we may as well go the whole hog!!!

I have opted to try the VTS slipper clutch from Associated to see how good it is, also I know that due to Oosh123 redesigning the layshaft a bit differently from Alcyon the rear plate is closer to the motor plate so this does seem highly plausible, especially as this moves the spur fractionally closer than the standard B4 slipper plates. I think the front section of the slipper will be a tight fit but believe the standard gear cover will go on.

The write up on the slipper so far is that it is smoother and can slip continuously without much wear rate so due to this does make the car a lot smoother to use, and less agressive so would be of benefical use espescially to those using clay or dirt tracks.

Your views on this will be muchly appreciated.

La-232 65.5 for the front and la-245 or um-510 62.5 bone for the rear and the shorter axle from the la-231-02

welshy40, when you said the slipper is smooth, which one did you mean, oosh's one or mine, or both? anyway your second layshaft is in the works. i asked the machinist to make 2, one for you one for me. with the spur brought in closer. you should get someone to video record your Lazer in action for all of us to see.
