B4 2wd upgrade kit - approx £240.00

B44 4wd upgrade kit excludes shock towers - approx £199.00
B44 4wd upgrade kit includes 4mm shock towers - approx £220.00

Expected date when available - April onwards hopefully for both cars, if all our testing goes to plan, but again this date could change.

Hope the above helps

I own a s4 (1 of 2 in the states) and I love it but the s44 looks the way to go. Same with the s2. I run a x-6 and I like it but the s2 as well as the s4 and s44 are all works of art in my opinion. I just wish the exchange rate was not so against us on this side of the pond. 240pounds is about $470!!! I will be getting both cars when available but I might have to get the wife dressed all sexy like and take her downtown to a busy street corner to work up some funds for my r/c collection Does anyone know any way around how poor the $ is to the pound? Any tricks to playing the system of currency exchange?

LOL ..... try living here .... most of our racing stuff is the same price in £s as you guys pay in $ and road fuel to get to meetings is about $10-$10.5 a gallon

Back on topic

I have to say that everything I have seen of Jonathan's is super quality and very well thought out from an engineering prospective. The price your paying isn't bad either when you consider the lower volume potential and the cost of tooling up for a tub chassis etc.

This is with or without an S4 shell? (couldn't find the "old" prices for the S4 conversion)

Will the std. B44 shell fit this new chassis? Is the A-C chassis the same outline?

How is that thick carbon chassis as to weight? Is that partly why the top deck is removed?

How about making a standard B44 tub? With the std. battery layout? (Not enough room?)

Fantastic craftmanship btw!

I believe the price includes the shell

the stock B44 might fit if you use a 'short' servo, I don't think this has been tested though. it would also be wider than the chassis.

I believe the chassis is 3mm thick, the walls of the tub give the chassis the strenth so that no top-deck is required.

the Tub mould would not fit a stock B44 battery layout (the chassis is not wide enough).

I am not sure the investment for a tub mould for a stock B44 chassis but in a tub would be worth it. I could be wrong though.

I can't say if the investment would be worth it, but I think I'd prefer a stock B44 lay-out tub chassis over a slim one, as I need to be able to fit the cells in my Yok BX, read too many things about B44s breaking not to have a back-up car

Best advice.. dont cut carbon on your own.. ever, it isnt worth it, the crap that comes out of it gets in to your lungs and dosnt remove its self!

Jonathan sends off for his parts to be specially made cut rebated or moulded.

I could do it at college and use the dest exstractors.

Does anyone know of anywhere that will make me a chassis and a few other parts for a small fee.

I'll second that! Evil stuff the carbon dust.

Ash, if the carbon you're using is any good you'll need diamond blades & alot of them. Make sure you factor this into the cost. Best advice would be to not go there.

On second thoughts, cutting your carbon chassis could help remove some of those fingers otherwise used for typing pages of irrelevant crap...
