I'm a Lewis fan really, but also like Button and that was a fantastic finish to the race!! Nice one Jenson! I'd would have loved Schumacher to be on the podium too, if only he could've overtaken Seb when he was behind him.....

Easily the most thrilling GP I've seen in years. Loved it. JB was fantastic. Great race and great result.

More good news. Stewards take no action so results stand. Woohoo.

5hrs 17min of F1 watching is a new record in my house!!

Great race eventually but a few things that annoyed me with it too! They should have always started the race as normal without the safety car, there wasn't any need for that as it's a fairly slow first section anyway so no more dangerous then any race at the start - These guys are the best in the business after all so let them go and fight it out....

I think Lewis was incredibly unlucky this time, he was soooooooooooo much quicker then Button on Wets and proves to me he would have won the race pretty comfortably if he hadn't been put in the wall... Fair enough Button said he didn't see him coming but he knew he'd made a mistake on the last chicane and saw Lewis in his mirrors so surely knew he was going to be carrying a lot more speed!

DRS didn't work IMO, it was too much of an advantage and certainly didn't need to be in 2 places as people were over-taking using it, then using it again to pull away which seemed a bit unfair (But it's all a learning curve i know)!

I was really pleased for Michael, but he was never going to be able to hold off Button or Webber, as it dried their cars were just sooo much faster but i think he proved a lot of people wrong and showed that he can still mix it up when the car is quick, and if you gave him the Red Bull or Mclaren he wouldn't be far off Button, Vettel and Co!

obviously you were not watching the feed from the pits, not only did hamilton watch button along with the rest of the team in the pits, he applauded buttons overtaking of vettel and win.

Try and read the post again slooooooooooooowly this time. JB celebrated after winning the race not during it.
While Button celebrated, Hamilton left the track after an ignominious race that saw him drop from second to fourth in the championship The quote does not mention applauding in the pits. It says he left the track. He did not join in the celebrations. I did see lewis clapping and smiling through gritted teeth sitting down while the rest of the crew and probably every McClaren fan myself included were out of their seats.

I saw pics of him celebrating, but to be honest he's a racing driver and he's a winner so you can't blame him for not being overly pleased having been put in the wall by Button anyway.....

It's just not a Team sport at the end of the day, you would NEVER see Alonso celebrating for Massa, or Webber / Vettel for each other as they are racers at heart and Winning is all that counts.

Lewis should have known better when trying the pass. He could have waited a second longer when Jenson would gone to the right of the track in preparation for the next corner. He would have slipped through then.
As Jenson said you cannot see anything behind you in these conditions.
At best a "Racing accident" at worst "lack of judgement" from Lewis.

I seem to remember one M Schumacher making more than his fair share of exuberant errors when he was Lewis's age before he settled down and did some tactical thinking and winning WCs.

Lewis has to start thinking and do less reacting. That is something that Jenson has learned, and when it comes to tactical races like this he gets the better of almost everyone. If Lewis could learn that the only time he needs to lead a race is on the line on the last lap, he might give the rest of us less of a nervous time watching him!!

And where does the idea that Vettel is mortal suddenly come from? I seem to remember him making that bloody obvious in the 2009 season when he seemed to collide with just about everyone and everything, screw up safety car periods and give the car a hard time. Missed a corner? Nothing new there then!!

Calm down, you really seem to dislike Lewis..

Lewis went up to JB after the race and congratulated him..

They are both great drivers with different approaches.. they seem to get on ok and I believe they spur each other on to be better.

It was an epic race, would have been even better if Alonso and Hamilton were still in it..

f1 would be a much better place if hamilton wasn't there as his atitude stinks, and he believes everyone is against him.
may'be he thinks button put him in the wall because he's black(joke)

button on the other hand was fantastic 6 times through the pit's and still wins
