it was tamiya transparent red, backed with a dusting of trans. silver, then metallic red, then black to darken it off. The next one will be brighter, so i can see it!

Yeah, the crashes were all on purpose, to strength test it... honest....

I had a mare on sunday! me and kidderminster never did get on...

yeah, cos walking into our tent, and half-volleying your car at my face really does help!

from what i saw, the new chassis had bags of potential, really stable considering the amount of grip it was generating. It'd look awesome if you use carbon fibre on mk2. In fact, i'd probably cream myself

mk II will still be white GRP, much easier to cut and shape.

The final will be CF to get the weight down, but i'll probably get fibre lyte or someone similar to make that one up for me.

mkII will have a narrower top-deck, stronger rear end, and better battery mounts.

I actually bottled out of volleying it properly, so as not to hurt anyone... that was with the standard chassis though, and in fairness the car was absolutely dire...

it was just generating waaaay too much grip, and fell over at every available opportunity... there were thing i could've done to solve it, but every time i scrubbed some grip off the car, the track grip came up and it was about the same!

Anyhoo... I'll promise to try to get some pics tonight and post them, got to put it back on the car first though!
