Does anyone know where i may be able to get 4 brushes and the springs to go with the attached motor?

Any help would be cool.

Nice motor, the Checkpoints were known for being great with loads of torque. You need slot car brushes and springs, any specialist such as http://www.bslotcar.com/ will be able to advise you properly but I think you need brushes and springs for the 1/24th scale motors.
