As far as i know 50-60% charge is the best way to store them, you can leave them fully charged but this is ment to reduce the lifespan of the cells more than at 50/60% .

Saying that, If i happen to end up with a fully charged pack i just leave it charged and havnt noticed any negative effects

It's a myth that storing a fully charged LiPO makes any discernable difference. More as a selling point for chargers' discharge ability in my opinion.

It depends on how long the 'length of time' is. If it is only a month or two, it would be fine, however, after being made, a manufacturer has no idea how long it will be before the LiPO is first used - it could be a couple of years before it is even sold to the end customer. At this kind of time period, then it will of course make a difference, but this isn't the length of time most people are talking about, it is usually only around a month or so.

For a 19T brushed equivalent? That'd be a 10.5T brushless motor.

I'd go with either a Tekin RS (the non-pro version), if you can afford it, or a Speed Passion GT2.0, for a more reasonably priced set-up.

The Tekin is useful in classes where 'slower' motors are used (10.5 or 13.5), as it has a boost setting, where the motor's timing is increased after about half throttle/revs, which makes it look a little like it has two gears, and can really give you an edge.
