Default Lipo battery mod...possible?

Recently i purchased this saddle packs...http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/32821 .
Their size is ok and they fit just fine in my Pred but the main problem is that the wires are too big/thick and they dont allow for the shell to close firmly. Everything is squeezed, wire touches the shaft etc etc. Is there any way to shorten them? or even i can change ie the plug from deans to corally bullet style so that i can save space?

Any suggestions will be welcome...thanks

well, I'm no expert, but just my 2cts

the thick wire between the two packs is especially thick to permit the current to flow without resistance.
I guess you could open the packs and change the wiring ... but if I were you, I would sell that pack, buy a performant stickpack and make the Stickpack-mod on the Pred.

The car even drives better with it and IMHO it's easier to fit everything into the car.
