Spiral mounting astro
Hi all im mounting some shuey spirals and noticed theres two ways of mounting them.first is with studs closer together on outside or u can rotate them round so studs further apart on outside.i now know that the first way is more aggressive grip than the second way.the question is which way do people generally mount them? Do some mount rear different to fronts or all the same way

I can only assume that would be the case. The fastrax twister is a similar tyre and I have two sets for my truggy, one set mounted opposite to the other. I've done this to experiment with, but haven't experimented yet, so can't give any feedback.
I know that's no help immediately, but now you know you're on a right track.

I bought some premounts, wide spacing to the outside. I'd think the other way round would be a little "griprolley", they are massively grippy anyway.........

I have always 2 sets of spirals mounted
1st Set is front non agreessive ,rear aggressive 2nd set front non aggressive ,rear non aggressive Alot depends on the surface of the astro you are running on and you will also find that inserts are a big part in the tyres
