TRF501 : Tamiya or Losi wheels ?
I'm going to stock up some wheels for the TRF501 for the upcoming outdoor season. I was planning on getting Losi wheels as they are a bit easier to obtain, but I've heard there are some issues with the hex on Losi front wheels.
Has anyone had the same issues with the Tamiya wheels ? Does it look like the hex on Tamiya wheels holds better ? If so, I might order some Tamiya wheels. |

The Tamiya wheels are absolutely identical - so expect the same..
The same being no problem at all unless you're a maniac I hever had a wheel even threaten to strip, thats with always running a front one way. Some people (dan greenwood) went through wheels like there was no tomorrow. I got three sets of Tamiya wheels - I don't need more than that really since I have a lot of Losi wheels already. |

I am using Losi 5 spokes and I have cracked the centers of mine, I think that is from tightening them up a little to dilligently!!! Apart from that they work great (even the cracked ones)
