Schumacher big bore seals
***JUST GOT WORD THAT DEREK IS GOING TO BE AROUND ON THURSDAY SO I'M SORTED***
Hi Lads, Going to the Naul Thurs evening to help out on the setup for the 'big' race. Would anybody have some of the 'o' ring seals for Schumacher big bores off a Cougar SV? If yes I'd appreciate if you would bring them with you on Thurs. Kevin Last edited by Click; 07-12-2011 at 08:56 PM. Reason: NEW INFO |

Use something else. Associated are less prone to leaking, I use nortech whities, these are leak free and super smooth. The blue schuey ones ain't the best.

If you are going to use the Schumacher 'o' rings, just be aware that you WILL get a small amount of leakage, as they are designed to be low friction. Like Ian, I have used 'Whities' with no leaking whatsoever. Also the Associated orange 'o' rings do just as well.

Hi Lads,
Appreciate the replies. I have some orange associated rings so I'll use them. The 'o' rings that where in the shocks were 'whities', I'll get more of these for future rebuilds. Kevin |
