Thanks for sharing.

On the ruling of zero timing on 21.5t motors. Can this be motors that have adjustable timing and the club scrutineers that these motors are adjusted to zero timing. Or will it be only 21.5t motors with a non-adjustable, locked end bell timing design, as preferred by the BRCA.

Default Zero timing on adjustable motors..

The BRCA have woken up to this and have added a “If you can prove” clause to the rules … So from our perspective Yes we will allow adjustable timing motors as long as you can set them to Zero…
It has also been noted that some Adjustable timing motors work fine without the sensor wire which also qualifies as a pass

Motor/Battery rules aside. To what extend are the rest of these rules going to be applied in terms of excluding points for drivers who don't conform? Just asking, as some of it seems a bit drastic considering where we are today-

You should have a shell that is more than one colour?

Lights and grilles painted?

It must be a GT shell (boring) and resemble real race cars?

Side and rear windows cannot be painted?

There's nothing better than seeing a grid full of escorts, golfs and the occasional comedy ford anglia. Anyone brave enough to run a GT12 with a huge wedge of cheese as a bodyshell should be rewarded!

Body shell rules won't be strictly held as in Gloucester shells only last a week or 2 so I don't think any1 cars what bodies are used. They were left in the rules for a guideline if people go other clubs/national events.

Default GT12 Rules for GERCC

Sorry .. 100% we will not be enforcing the Body shell rules other than the car must have a 12th scale shell.. Please mess with designs and come up with as many different shapes and colours as you can.

As for the rest of the rules.. Cars will be scrutineered and then passed to be entered into the Trophy Class... Spot checking will be done through the season. Cars not meeting the correct level will permitted to run but will be dropped from the Trophy Class.
