Default Kyosho driveshaft help

I've got a Kyosho Triumph in pretty good nick that will be a runner at some point (albeit rather slowly).
Only really needs the rear driveshafts sorting. It has some yellow/gold alloy ones in there at the moment. Wondered if anyone knew who'd made them?

Because of the adjustable width hubs on the Triumph they do fit but need to be on the wider setting, this makes the car too wide so I'll be replacing them with standard Kyosho items.
I know the original dogbones and axles are OT-6 and OT-18, but am I right in thinking the UJ replacements would be W5063?
Any help appreciated.

They are indeedy. These are the Kyosho option house universal shafts W-5062.
Bloody expensive and rare!
Didn't know they fit the Triumph but everyday's a school day

Thanks for the RC10 talk link, why does it have to be so complicated

I don't think they are the W5062 shafts unfortunately, from all the photos I've seen they have a thicker section coming from the UJ down the dogbone for 6-7mm (at a guess) where-as these ones don't have that.

Didnt duratrax sell gold colored universals for the rc10 and ultima? I can't find an ad right now but I seem to recall them. Also Trinity had gold universals iirc, but not sure if any were for optima/ultima

If those were rocky they should be a bit long on the axle side, like you might need to put a washer behind the locknut to get the wheel tight

Measure the full length, then the length from the axle to the dog bone and also the screw thread end to the axle and let me know. I may have an alternative as i think the ujs axle is the same as the zxr.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm going to go with the dogbones as it was originally due to the fact it won't see much action.
If anyone has worked out what these gold driveshafts are and thinks they can use them just drop me a line.
