Question Extra weight for XXX-CR

Hi,

Aside from the 35g front bulkhead (pivot block) how much other weight do people generally add to the rest of the XXX-CR and where?

Is it just a case of laying lead under the lipo?

Cheers

Thumbs up weight

i made a led weight to screw down over the top of the servo brace, if you know how to melt led down its rather easy to do. i made it around 35g weight as i'm using a 88 spur with a 23pinion with my 5.5 brushless.

hope this helps.

Apart from the Bulkhead i dont run any extra wieght with the lipo's. I do however plan to run a block of the stuff when i recieve my short ko servos in the near future. Im hoping it will help keep the front end down under acceleration

I´m using just 45gr behind my futaba low profile servo and the car handles great. I raced both in multi surface (astro-carpet-clay) and low grip tracks, and with the normal set up changes the car always felt planted.
