Hy,
we raced the mini spike and low cut staggers. Mini pins are way to aggressiv on that track. Faster but harder to drive so we prefer the mini spike cause its also the handout tire for there big race in february so we used the practise day for finding the right setup

regards Tom

Ok, black contry it's astro, but did you try the mini pin on carpet.
Because at the EOS on capet you used the Dboots.
In french we use the mini pin on carpet and the mini spike on astro.

Hy,
no i didn't test the mini pin on carpet.
But Oli did it at the indoor dirt race and I'm sure it is even better then mini spike on astro cause for the tm2 its easy, the more grip you have, the better is the car

since now we dind't see any wheely on that car and no traction rolling

regards Tom

IS there any hop up or upgrade to lose the c clips around the hubs?
I hate c clips?
Is there a c clip or two in the shocks?

Hy,
no there is no Upgrade to use this without the c clips.

In the shocks there are 2 c clips to hold the piston.

But Steven - thats also got the "sticking up bulge" for the old mid motor spur which is superfluos on the TM.

Only alternative still looks like Rudebits DB2 shell.

Has the tm2 been released now? I don't plan on getting one as I don't race indoors.

Default TM2 Shell

I've heard Mr Speedy at Phat Bodies is working on a aftermarket shell for the TM2 already, going on their previous shells this will be worth waiting for!

I like the look of that car and i think between my Monkey and SC4 I got most of it. I could put the two together and away i`d go. If i dont do that then the shell Si`s is sposed to be doing may fit my Monkey/TC02.
And with regards to `E` clips, you can change them as i have. I just put long M3 cap screws and a nut .Job done

Rych,

The TM-2 comes with a mid motor shell from the TC02C with the spur cover etc at the back. The TM-2 doesnt need the high spur cover due the the motor being in the middle of the car, thats why Phat Bodies are doing a shell to wrap around the TM-2 more like the DB-1.
