Default Lipo Battery Storage

Hi,

Can anyone confirm how I should store my lipos if they are not going to be used for the next month? I.e. flat, fully charged etc.

Thanks
Gareth

Never ever, ever store them flat!!

Best bet (if your charger allows it) is to use the storage charge function.
If it doesn't then charge them to between 60-70% capacity and store them like that.
I always make sure mine are storage charged after racing. Most of the time though the 5-7 minute run from fully charged is about equal to the storage rate.

Does this also apply when you store them for say... a week or less, before being used again?

Guy's, what's the best way for longer storage? Check voltage so now and then?
Thanks
