Default how do i mix/thin tamiya lexan paint

Hi folks,
After being recomended then sold the wrong type of paint (Acrylic) by a certain 'TURD' modelshop in Edgely, Stockport!! mentioning no names!!! I am turning to the experts for help...

I do know that Acrylic paint is totally the wrong stuff for lexan bodys, however the shop in question asured me the paint they sold me was for lexan bodys!!! I will not be returning...
After ruining one Vortex shell with the Acrylic i am ordering another and some Tamiya or equivelent paint to suit..I have never used this type of paint before so i need to know in what ratio i thin it to paint and with what! i am using a bog standard Badger £12 air brush and aerosol propellant.
Also if anyone can recomend a good quality and good range of paints to choose from would be great!

Any feedback would be much appreciated...Thanks People..
Paul..
