I've been over the results. There's quite a few missed laps in there. I've sent the corrected results to stu wood to double check before there posted

Those overalls are wrong ,it looks like before the results were corrected.
Gavin Crolla should be 10 laps not 11

There seems a lot of dodgy lap adding and too much guess work to me

it was one round to count on position in round

i can see why you'd say that, but 90% of the missed laps were very easy to spot and add back in, drivers doing 30/31 second laps suddenly have a 60/63 90/95 second lap ect
stu woods has checked the results as is happy they are as close to correct as we can get them.

what i would like to know is what type of transponders does andy cottam, gavin crolla stu wood and les have in there cars, and where are they mounted, as they were the most common for missed laps, we'll also be doing our best to sort the timing for slmcc's meeting.

I'm sure if it was at a national from memory they wouldn't go back on?

To be Honest No idea!

all the timing stuff used was southlakes clubs equipmeant, and at club meetings it's been working fine, we checked for any mistakes in the setup, loop wires close to mains ect, the loop was only just below the surface of the track, and oddly most of the cars had really strong signals, even some of the cars that were missing laps had good signals on the laps they were counted. we will be making sure it's sorted by the time we get to our meeting though

My round 1 run was 10 304 not 11 Paul Worsley has looked over them all at Woodys requests my second run was an 11 lapper I have yet to see where I finished, there seems to be some debate as to whether I crashed or not which I didn't in my second run. As far as I know there is no controlled tyre for north west regionals, fact! I was also led to believe that my transponder wasn't counting on my first run correctly but nobody said anything otherwise I would of used one of Barrows hand outs and not risk a run but to say I finished 4th or 5th when the lowest I could be is second is poor. I enjoyed Barrows meeting, partly due to the fact that I did a lot better than expected, the old style tracks are as good as the multi-purpose and make a nice change to the same old tracks we have in the North West.

Default Barrow

Think you're find that the issues are down to the weather and that's that. Also there will be people who win and lose due to the weather and timing issues but dont you still need another 2 good rounds and the chances of it being this wet is minimal as we enter summer. So all in all the best driver will still win.

Again seem to be alot of comments but from that of what i saw the region and woody did the best he could and made the right decission to call it off as someone would have got hurt. In the top 4WD heat in round 2 three people fell due to the conditions, myself, Gaz Hill etc

Roll on stoke incidently when is booking in open and to where are the entries sent?
