is there still no tablet or smartphone available that can do the "usb-host" thing ?
only "small pc" solution for hotwire is still a notebook or ultrabook ?
is the vegas software supported in windows 8 ?

USB hosting is still not the most popular thing on mobile devices. Very few have it. The Tekin Hotwire is already Win8 Compatible.

If you're talking about the servo lead: TT3807

If you simply need a case kit: TT3817 RS Pro

Hi,

Can someone advise me what timing advance I should use on my RS Pro. I run a DEX 410 with a Novak 6.5 on 21/87 gearing. I use dual drive, a current limit of 85, 3150 - 20016 RPM, throttle profile 3.

Thanks very much

Jason

Depends on track size really, you could go up 1 or two teeth on pinion too but i would look at around 65-80 on the timing.

Thanks for that - it is a small carpeted indoor track so I thought I might go down quite a bit - would 20% be too much or better at 65-80%? Presumably the nearer to 100% the hotter the motor?

Cheers

If the track is quite small then i wouldnt worry too much about timing, 25% mark would be fine, its only until you feel your lacking top end that i would start going higher, and even then you could go up on the pinion a tooth and leave the timing as it is.

Yes, it avoids spikes in power and possible damage.
