Default Big bore springs

Hi, I use Kyosho big bore springs on my Tamiya 502 and I really like them.

More progressive giving a better feel on most tracks. Although at £12 a pair they're not cheap.

All I have ever used is yellow fronts with red rears or red fronts with white rears.

Hope this helps.

Dave

I run with the AVID Springs, they work great for me.
Front: 35wt/Ghea Magic Piston 2/AVID purple
Rear: 30wt/Ghea Magic Piston 1/AVID yellow

The stock pistons also worked properly.

I run them and they make the car so easy to drive and more predictable!
Won north west regional today with the below setup.

Remove 3 outer rows off front an one inner
Remove 1 inner and 1 outer off rear
Bed in prior to running aswell on some Tarmac

I've run the Durango BB spring on the B4.1 / C4.1 /B44.1

For the spring collars I've used the Ghea items:

AVID are also making spring collars for the AE shocks:

For the spring cup, you can use the Losi 22 items, direct fit.

The Durango cups also fit, but are loose on the shock end, some heat shrink can be used to take up the play.

Or you can use the AVID spring cups.

I've tried the Kyosho BB Springs last time and they seem to fit my driving style a bit better then the AVID's.
The white KYO rear seems to be exactly in between the two stiffest AVID Springs.

Sorry for the Offtopic- Mick, any word on the white AVID Satellite rear wheels?

Ron

Avid white wheels are on the way.

Please send me a PM with your experience of the AVID springs.
