I had the 18th in my FTX Blaze and if I read your post correctly, the car is stopped, you put on some throttle and it is as if the motor is not able to rotate smoothly?

I had the same and eventually the ESC let out the magic smoke. I met one of the Horizon guys at WLRC in the UK and he took it back to the office to check it out. Turns out there was an issue with the FET's.

If you bought it 2nd hand, I am not sure if you are still covered, but I would get it sent in, just to be on the safe side.

Get in touch with Horizon and see what they can see on the unit for you.

Good luck

Those Losi Sensorless Speedo's aren't very good IMO. I borrowed one for 2 minutes, and the FET's let go on it! They are very cheap tho, so can't complain really. As Mini-JT says, follow his guidelines on them, as he ran the mamba max speedo if I recall (also sensorless).

Hi,

On my Mini-T I have installed a Xcelorin 6000kv sensorless (LOSB9560) and it coggs / stutters loads on gentle progressive starting. The motor gets very hot very quickly too.

If I blat it on the tranny, then it shoots off no probs, and works as long as the motor is rolling. If I come to a stop...same problem.

The combo is brand new. Geared on a 15T pinion on a stock 60T spur.

New LIPO 1300 Flightpower battery - fully charged.

ESC setup properly on my tranny.

Any ideas? It shouldn't do this should it? Is it faulty?

Thanks.
