Setup questions
Hey! My friend and i made a tiny track at a school. And we are using my mad rat and his b4. Its really alot of fun! Ive never driven on a track. I added 30g weight on the serve because its understeering. Its still understeering but it also nose diving more compared to the b4. What can i do to prevent understeering and nose diving?
The jump is really small and there is only tight turns. Ive seen on most b4's in Denmark are using staggered rib front tiress. What surface arw they good for? |

I would lay the front shocks down more so bring them in on the top this will make the softer meaning you will have a little more grip so more steering then I would move the camber links out on the hub on the front to allow the front to roll more so you get more steering If you still need more stand the rear shocks up on the tower to take away some of the rear end grip allowing the rear end to break traction and slide Stagger ribs are used on the front on high grip Astro tracks

Turn the acurman link around so it points forwards and have the ball stud more at the front of the car.
This will give you more agressive steering and will not understeer. |

No sorry. It is the plastic link that is linking the two steering bell cranks together and the steering turn buckle goes to on the inner side. It has the ball stud in it which can be changed in two positions. If you look at it, it is slightly bowed. If you turn it upside down to make the bowe go forward instead of backwards, this will put the ball stud even more forward than standard, giving more agressive steering.
You will have to space out the top of the shocks so the turn buckle does not catch the shock spring. |

Okay thanks everybody. But some small kids ruined the track a few days ago. But i know a place that would be okay for making a little track. I would love to try the mad rat on a real track though
