CC Sidewinder problems

Hi!

A friend of mine just bought a Lazer rtr and a castle creations sidewinder 5700kv combo. We got it to work but when he drives it suddenly just shuts down and you have to walk up to the car, turn the switch off and then on to get it to run again.
Anyone has any ideas what might be wrong?

I was thinking of built in failsafe or something but please help us out!
