Default noob! help :) hyper 7

i just purchased a hyper 7 second hand, ive been driving electric for years and decide to buy a nitro car. I really dont know much about them, ie tuning the engine, i would appreciate any help!
do you run it leaner or richer in the cold weather?
also i leave it to warm up for 5 mins then when i apply about half throttle the car cuts out, any ideas why?

i would really appreciate any help/advice
thanks in advance!!!

check the simple things first. had someone come in the shop with something similar this past week. check your air to fuel ratio. there should be a screw somewhere to alter this slightly. I don't race nitro yet, but had this exact same problem on a mini metro about 10 years ago.
